This is waaaaaay better than any other free vr game. We love how there aren’t that many ads. AMAZING GAME!!!!!
Although at first the vr controls seem weird and theres only missiles, its a great game and once you get used to the controls then there actually pretty good, it can be a bit blurry but it still has really good graphics. We really dont see a need to use guns in this game and the missiles just look incredible. You can ignore any bad comments about its vr capabilities and even if you dont like it in vr it has options if you do t have a vr headset.
So, we’ve had this game for about 2 months but never played it because our VR headset is broken. But today, we started playing it using touch screen, which we didnt know we could do. We got past level 2 so far, and the game is awesome, but you need to add different weapons like cannons, machine guns, and lasers. Heres our question: What is the story of this game? Whats the lore and stuff?
Its a really great game, its the best vr game theirs is! But you should at first person view, so that way you are in the jets and not outside.

We really like this game, but the last iphone update wrecked volume control on almost all apps it seems like. This app included. A lot of the targeting signifiers are through the audio and not so much with visual ques. The audio wont work at all and this makes the game very hard to play. Please fix it. We hope you still support it.

This game is exactly what we were looking for in a flight combat game. The control system is intuitive and easy to learn (note: we dint have a VR setup, so Im playing with motion/touch control). The audio feedback is really important – you hear beeps when targeting locks on. The missions are fun and can get quite intense. The equipment system is easy to understand and well laid out. Upgrades arent expensive and you can repeat missions to build up in-game currency for new jets and improvements. We went ahead and bought a credit package and ads were automatically disabled as advertised. Im having a lot of fun and am considering a VR headset to see what thats like. Tl;dr – the game is fun, inexpensive, and worth downloading to at least check it out.
We personally dont enjoy playing mobile games. But when it involves a game pad and vr. Thats already a great game for us. This is a great game to kill some time with. It can be for the casual, or for the daring. 10/10 would recommend.
Despite the month of unplayable crashes, the current update has brought the game back to its original excitement. The targeting is more precise and the 3D experience is still impressive. This update has some visual glitches in the menu for daily games but nothing to stop an incredible game. We are glad it is working again. Timekeeper0001.
We have been looking for a game that is VR and MFI and so far this is absolutely the best yet.
The placement on vr is off center.
Only complaint is that in non VR it’s hard to control.
By far one of the best vr apps for the iPhone. Does have some problems though. Takes to long to load the missions, or that could just be our phone messing up, can’t tell. When it works it is amazing and absolutely worth the download.
We own a gear VR headset, and there is no way to get the headset adjusted to the game.
This is a really nice game! It was a really big deal for us. Though we would add some things such as, super maneuverability, still having control after stall, rudders, and guns/cannons. Something else is can you add bombers/dive bombers? Itd be amazing to go first person also. We think a good idea would be that you can add a hangar customization tab! This is a perfect game and we personally love all the jets, and middles you can shoot!
This is a really great VR game, and the in app purchase prices are actually reasonable and not pay to win like other games! If they added an option to scan a cardboard code so we could customize the screen for our headset, this would definitely be a 5 star game.
Good game but it has issues do It being pretty clich of it allI say at least try to make it not as to get shot down with out a chance to engage late class 2 missions Plus missiles only??? C-mon! Give some thought add more armament like air-service to equip and a gun to make a quicker kill. Or maybe one shot one kill all enemys. UPDATE Are to much missiles being shot at us more than we can evade. Yes we top off our jets we still get killed. Not fun.
Has good core gameplay mechanic, but needs more diversity in upgrades and different types of missiles or something else. Also the fire button doesn’t match the virtual cockpit aesthetic. Get a button that fits more closely. Also fix the art on the hangar staff. It’s not good. Spend like $30 to get somebody to draw something good there.
Condition: 3rd world campaign: Phase 3 gear level locked, Already have best phase 2 maxed with 2x boosted. Sitting on piles of useless funds, they level locked wont let us use. =============================== Cons: They spawn hundreds of enemies, shooting sidewinder missiles on your back at start, AT START! Instant death right on start. Even if you down all of them (50bandits) they pull the mission as failed, even if you got all objectives, the timer runs out, and forces redo. Wow, developers, we have a life to live you know? =======DEAR DEVELOPER ======TY== Make phase 3 ships available on 3rd campaign, we have the creds and money to get it. Mission 3-4 in campaign 3 is like trying to scrape up an ocean with a butter knife. Life is short, why you make it so hard for us? Its like a peepee measurement contest, for you to mock us. You ever played:STRIKE SUIT INFINITY? NOw that is a GOOOD GAAMMEE! Better than yours, we got the whole series. Check it out plz, learn something cool, and make some smilez. Ok best wishes, good luck.
We were researching games to play with VR and this game kept popping up everywhere. So we decided to give it a try. When we plugged it in to our headset, we immediately noticed flaws. The games vision was really blurry and unfocused, our controller did not work with the game, and that dot to select stuff wasnt in the middle. The controls were all wonky and the gameplay was boring, given that you have no way to control when u shoot or change weapons and your opponents hardly move around. We deleted this game within a few minutes of downloading it. The only thing we give this game is the graphics. They arent as bad as most VR games, and deserve some credit. But if we were you, we wouldnt waste your time.
Once a great game to play its now overrun with commercials plus theres no more free range mode as with the the earlier fractal combat game .
Make this comparable for our phone in vr mode.
We got this game because we heard it was great with VR. When we got it we were greatly disappointed. The two dots and everything else is not centered properly so you cant even look at the screen. While taking the phone out to try and fix it we saw that it bought something using our real life money!!! We could not get a refund and we are greatly disappointed.
A very underrated game, this is one of the best VR games!
The vr experience under expert mode is of a fighter jet- just awesome.
This game is by far the best VR game we have. In addition to that, it’s generally one of the best games that we have on our phone, which is full of games. But this one has controller support and VR support which are an instant jump up from other games. This one has pretty good graphics, not the best but definitely good. It has to different flight control modes for beginners and the more experienced who like simulation. There’s only a couple things with this game that takes it from a 5-Star review to a 4-Star review (I’d do 4.5 if we could), and that is that this game gets somewhat repetitive, and it doesn’t have a cockpit view. On the contrary, in smaller doses this game is very fun and very exciting.
This is a great game but it crashes immediately now, making it impossible to play. Please fix this!
While the game itself has very good gameplay and graphics, the vr mode just isn’t styled right for most headsets if it’s right at all for any. Doesn’t really focus right on our 7 plus but gameplay is still okay. If that’s fixed than I’d change this to 5 stars.
So far this is the best VR game we have played. It is lots of fun and immerses us in the world.
Previous flight model had something better than this new one. In the previous flight model we could slow down and make our ship hover in place and hide behind a mountain and peek up, shoot and hide back down again. This new flight model just made everything as dull as just going fast or slow. We can’t hover any more. That made us come back for more. We don’t know, it doesn’t feel right. Please put it back the way it was before.
We have two diff headsets, this game can’t be focused in either.
Says it supports VR but could not be focused on Cardboard hardware.
App goes to sleep every time we try to play on our iPhone. Absolutely unplayable. Will play other VR in the future.
We wish we could keep our class 1 plane and be able to complete the extras on the class 1 list, without having to spend credits on doing it over.
We loved the original Fractal Combat, so when this came out, we went ahead and snagged it, wound up purchasing 70,000 credits (not because the game pushed us into it, we had actually already beaten the game by the time we bought the credits, we just wanted to support the developer). But outside of the great gameplay, controls, graphics, ect… The developer support is simply outstanding. We really can’t recommend this one enough to fans of aerial combat games, especially arcade based aerial combat games… This one is a MUST OWN.
Can’t play without it recognizing our controller.
This is our first review on anything related to apple even though we’ve been with them for 15+ years. Last Holliday season we purchased the new Apple TV and also got a steel series nimbus controller for it . We drive for uber so having that controller and our iPad we can play GTA SA and kill time while waiting for rides . We were told this game was one of the best games of the year and we say otherwise! Our controller picked it up no problem ,however we can’t shoot a weapon! Being maybe the only review we ever leave please be easy on us … Goodbye.

The game is broken. It is supposed to give you credits at the start of the game, but it doesn’t, so you can’t play the game without wasting money on buying credits. Don’t waste your time with this one.
You can play without a controller by moving your head and it moves the plane in different directions. When you stare at an enemy, a lock on will trigger and you fire your weapons automatically . It has a good variety of different planes and weapons as well. This is a freemium game though meaning you can spend money to get planes and weapons early, but you can more than likely grind to get them without paying anything. Great graphics including, good lighting, clean graphics, heat effects that come off of your jets, and has really good explosions and particle effects. This game also has great resolution for mobile and probably the best Arcady flight game on iPhone cardboard. Recommended by us to the fullest. Developer if you read this please add more content. Great game though!!

Great game, really fun to play and definitely worth downloading, the only problem is the dual screens glitch :( definitely very annoy, and very frustrating, please tell us there’s a fix coming out for it soon or we’ll be very disappointed, because it is a really great and addicting game :(
However, needs lots of bug fixes or it would be rated a five… Note, have to fix blunder real swell game.
